Established in 2010, Jana Towels started as a small towel manufacturing industry locally with 4 Doby looms. Which within a few years swiftly grew up to become a brand with a presence PAN India and globally in Peru, Chile, South Africa, United States of America, Europe, Nepal and Srilanka.
With 4 factories located in Solapur – The Textile hub of Maharashtra. Jana Textiles is fully integrated with cutting edge technology in the Towel manufacturing industry. Embedding all the way from dyeing and processing yarn to delivering fully packed product. The factory comprising 42 states of the art looms of which are 28 rapier and 14 jacquard looms, 2 warping machines, dyeing and processing unit and over 200 employees produce over 900 tons of different variety of ‘Terry Towels’.
Jana towels uses superior yarn processing technology, drastically increasing the strength of the yarn leading to a more durable and softer towel with much longer lifespan. Equiped with state of the art computarized electronic dobby and jacquard looms, produce high quality towels which people love.

Mr. Sadanand Ramaswami Jana with a diploma in Electronics and Radio Communication and BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington International University, USA made a successful career that spanned over 30 years in Saudi Arabia. Spending 22 years of his professional career at Siemens Ltd. Saudi Arabia he finally took retirement and set to embrace his youth vision of becoming a textile industrialist with his eldest son Sumeet Jana.
Mr. Sumeet Sadanand Jana after graduating Bachelor of Engineering in Production set on a quest to bring his fathers dream into reality at a very young age of 22. With hard work, dedication and his education in production, he slid into towel manufacturing with ease. With immense dedication and hardwork he built the foundation to which Jana Textiles stands firm and proud today, and became the youngest most successful businessman in Solapur.
After his MS Electronic Embedded Systems from France, Mr. Amit Sadanand Jana has recently joined in his family venture bringing Jana Towels into the digital age and expanding the horizon by incorporating digital into the existing traditional marketing practices.
